Fuel or turnip shortage

Hi,

It seems I am running into a bit of trouble. My fuel and turnip supply is very close to 0 and I can't buy them from the market / troll market either. I'm not sure whether other players are experiencing the same problem or not but for the time being I can't send my army on the raids anymore.

Yes, this was a problem indeed. We've put a lot of turnips onto the market place now, so that you are able to produce fuel in the distillery.

Those turnips again.
You will need the farm built up to a large building to make them. I recommend that be one of the first things new players make. That way they will be able to make the turnips. Remember that you will also need a distillery to make the hard liquor to then make the fuel.

I must have got one of the new "Green" mechs - it uses hardly any fuel , however by the sound of it (after Storms) comment - I take it on we upgrade to an Intruder - our fuel consumption will go up

It consumes twice as much as the initial mech.

A question - Not trying to upset anyone however why do you sell Turnips (system) - it sort of defeats the need to ever build a large farm. I can understand the seed thing and even water, timber and stone, however anything else needs to be from the Troll market or from other players selling on the market. What I like about this game is you need to plan for future expansion or products - it may take a few day or weeks even but its all about strategy.

If the system is going to sell turnips make it 4 - 5 gold then other players can make some money selling them but at 3.50 gold instantly - compared to 2.35 in time. I would think if the System is going to offer items it should be at least 2 x production cost (in the case of turnips 4.70 gold each).

Note - I may be speaking out of naivety and once I get an Intruder, I will asking for cheap turnips

The price on turnips from system, only recently went up to 3.5 ( Thanks Rancor9999). Before that the price was 2.5, I think, which was not even cost effective as it was easier to buy than make, when one considers the costs of upgrading to a large farm...
