Army deaths

Ok, so I have not read anything anywhere but I am hoping the veterans can help me out? Most of the dungeons and bosses for my army and level say avoid this place if you want to avoid certain doom etc. So I was wondering if you ever lose army units, ie, they die or is it they only lose health points.

As far as I know, they only lose health points ... like all of them.

It'll cost you dearly to restore full health + you don't get anything from that dungeon / boss fight. Not to mention the lost 12 or 24 hours.

I was worried about my Army guys and gals getting killed, too.

They told me sometimes they get really sick and you have to heal them. Now I can get some sleep.

They don't get killed off.
