This will take forever then. Least hope the rewards at the end are worth it.

Edit: Alright, this is my theory, crazy or not, the minion numbers don't matter. Just something big so all players have always something to attack, but still this phase is time limited it will end even if we don't defeat all the minions. Such as the boss will show up and say ENOUGH!! I won't let you kill anymore of my minions and thus begins phase 3...or so I hope. :?

The Priest and The Mechanic, are not repairing or healing automatically, if you are doing Phase 2 battles...

Interesting.

YOu have to repair/restore manually.

I saw this on the Eng and German server both....

I hope the reduction of the mobs is not based upon the number of attacks from players. :?

Using 9 hours as best time case and everyone starts another attack as the last one ends:

7000 x 9 hours(min) = 63,000 hours required

63,000 hours / 100 players = 630 hours / 168 hrs per week = 3.75 weeks
63,000 hours / 375 players = 168 hours / 168 hrs per week = 1 week

I think we need to get a clarification from Uiqua about this especially if there is a time limit of 1 week. In that scenario, it would be highly unlikely all the mobs will be defeated on this server. And if that is the case, we are just wasting resources and missing dungeons for no reason. :o :cry:

As of right now the mob count is only reduced by 44. So maybe 50 players participating:
63,000 hours / 50 players = 1260 hours / 168 hrs per week = 7.5 weeks :!:

I really hope either the mob counter uses a much different algorithm or my math is just wrong.

I hope the automatic repair is fixed soon.
Well my math is a little bit different on this one.
7000 mobs / 80 attacks average per day(might be more or less) = 87.5 days or roughly 3 months.
3 months without loot seems hell. :(

Animalux, I think your theory is quite credible. The mob count does not appear to be the same on each server (on D2 I believe it started at 16,000). It may be designed such that the counter never reaches zero (in practice). So then, is there a benefit in killing as many mobs as possible within a week, if phase 3 happens in any case?

However, I thought the blurb said we needed to destroy all the mobs. Ahhh, time will tell... One week or three months from now. :lol: :roll: :evil:

I find the idea of not getting any kind of loot awful. Considering how unstable the income of gold is, not getting loot with such events, especially considering how many resources were invested in those ships, can lead to stoppage in production and quite possibly raids and fortress fights as well. If the Phase 3 will also have no loot (at least gold), these 2 weeks might be really hard. Especially if the troll market will do what it does best – troll us.

You can't get to the boss without weeding out the minions first. :)
There isn't a stable income on this, but hope this will be worth it by the end of it. ;)
Although I'm finding myself in a pinch, since I spent all my gold on production prior to this. :? Lets hope there's something good I can sell on the troll market soon.

The Priest and the Mechanic are not functioning on the WB fight. I am not sure whether this is a bug or deliberate.
Different servers have different number of minions to be killed. On DE1 there were 35k but that is the most active server in the game.
I also don't think we're going to see phase 3 very soon until all minions are dead and buried. Since different servers have different numbers of minions, depending on how active a server is, my guess is that there might be some sort of self centering mechanism behind all this so that all servers go to phase 3 at approximately the same time. That might be one possible explanation for the number of minions constantly decreasing (besides players sending their armies to fight).
Phase 3, and this is a totally wild guess, might have us facing Haokah with a massive HP pool constantly decreasing after our attacks. I am not sure whether any defeats are foreseen for phase 3 or not.

It doesn't count 100% everytime (or never), but only a certain amount..and seems to be pretty random. That plus the extra percentage from phase 1.
My 3 attacks have been something like this:
1. 150k points
2. 100k points
3. 170k points

So it's a bit of luck in there as well. Quite saddened it's not full power.
