Question about Goldcoin and Quest

In one of the chapter quests it is necessary to obtain a gold coin. A friend of mine on the FR server can sell me one. On that server the players cooperate in the Competitions. Last competition the top50 had the same amount of goods sent. So it will be impossible to obtain a gold coin, only a gold chalice.

My question: Will the gold chalice be accepted too for the quest? Or really only gold coin?

I found it was the gold coin which satisfied the Chapter.

My question though is how can he sell you a gold coin?
It is in the Trophy Case. I never saw it show up in the Inventory.

Oh, wait let me check the German Server character.

EDIT: I do not see a gold coing in inventory, on in the trophy case.

You can't sell any of the trophies from your Trophy case. You can buy one for Guild points, though. The coin needs to be in your Trophy case to complete the Quest and can be used afterwards to your liking.

You can sell or buy it like the Verdandi. You temporarily join the guild who sells and give the guild whatever they demand in return. 800 souls for a Verdandi wanted some guild on German server. Just as an example.

Yeah, what Kagen said. He is in a 1-man guild. I'll have to join his guild, trade, leave.
But it'll cost me 5M gold (which is a good price, but still a lot of money), so i want to know if it is also possible with Gold Chalice, but i guess not.

On DE1 i'm saving up to get 75M to buy a Verdandi from another guild, since my own guild is doing portals only. I did the math, and it's cheaper per point than training up 6-7 Tears including wood costs.

So i guess getting units with tickets is also totally worth it!

I don't think you have to worry about it for now. You should probably wait as the odd of the fr server cooperating for month/year straight is still pretty low. (given how much time you need to reach the quest) I'm played the fr for over a year and i can say without the slightest doubt they have their share of troll, to be polite.



5M is the bare minimal one can sell it to you, any lower will result in a loss of money for them given for 200k guild points, one can get 1M Gold which is like the only thing one man guild care for when it come to the sacrifice of their guild. At the very i don't see the point of getting anything else as an one man guild ...

Yup, 5M is the lowest possible price. And i'd rather be safe than sorry, so i bought it. Maybe i'll regret it later, but meh.

The guy says he uses the 1-man guild to sell stuff without taxes. I'm not sure if that's worth 50 souls, but that's his call.

Because he is a friend, i got it for minimum price, and can pay back anytime i want (i'm still very small there). He plays on multiple servers, so i gave him some nice gold as interest on servers where i'm bigger. As much as i hate to say it, good deeds should be rewarded. Yuck, now i'll wash my mouth with soap.



And yeah, i noticed some French people are a bit short--tempered. Especially when you speak another language than French, even if you include the translation...

It has been implemented in the last patch and yes, you don't need to research it / perform any sacrifices. Only Guild leader / counselors can recycle items from the guild inventory. It's a fine addition to the game and saves a lot of time since you don't have to transfer the goods to your inventory, recycle and then donate the materials back to the Guild.
