redoing dungeons

You don't advance in the game? Then this is the right place!

redoing dungeons

Postby GYNDE » Mon 28. Jan 2013, 00:23

I thought I had read somewhere that you could "re-explore" a dungeon and get more stuff....

Now I can't find that, or more likely, I read it wrong.

Anyone know what happens if you go back to a dungeon you have already got a [check mark] on?

Sorry for the questions...... Trying to learn from your vast experience... :)

If you re-explore a dungeon you get gold and loot.
You get more gold and better loot depending on the difficulty of the dungeon.

There are also achievements based on how frequently you explore/re-explore dungeons.

My advice is to re-explore the most difficult dungeon that your army is capable of doing.

Redles is right, the more you re-explore the dungeons, the more gold and loot you get. It also counts towards the number of dungeon explored so you can strike another "success" in your fortress (Fortress / Successes).

My today experience - I re-explored the same dungeon as a few days before, only my recent army was stronger. In comparison to the last event was this loot bad - no equipment and little of gold. :x

For exploring and re-exploring the same dungeon you get between x and y amount of loot no matter how strong your army is. The amount of loot depends solely on the dungeon level, not on the army strength.
You should always explore the last accessible dungeon (the one with the green message) for most loot.

Ok, it probably looks like I simply have a bad luck.

Does the composition of army have an influence on the damage taken? For example, If I have a small pack of top soldiers or if I have a throng of weak ones ( but the sum of their attributes is equall) - will there be a difference between the amount of gold spent on their healing?

And furthermore, is good to improve your soldiers to higher level or is better just to train a new, stronger one?

For the first question we would need an answer from Uiqua. :)
As for the second one, at this level, I think it is better to train stronger units than to upgrade the weaker ones. You need to spend too much for training them to a higher level.
If you run out of serfs and need to train a stronger unit, just dismiss the weakest one and you get back your serf and the equipment of that unit.
