2 Long term questions

Hi guys,
Ok so I have been playing for awhile now.
I am finally in a position to really start buying those cute lazy imps. One of the achievements is to hire 1000 of them.
My first question is, is there a limit cap on imps, can you get to a point where you can not buy any more?? :?:

Is there a number where you can run every large building 24/7 and you do not need to buy anymore??

I am finally making enough gold so that I can spare a little on production reduction research. When you go into research/production there are 4 categories, total time reduction, wood, stone, water.
My second question is, are there limit caps on the time reductions in this section?? :?:

That would really screw up market prices if someone had say a 50% time reduction and could flood the market with goods.

I don't think there's any caps on imps, but imagine if you had all buildings maxed, would you need more imps than what you can put to work? I don't think so.
But if on the other hand, there's a cap that limits you to a lower number, it would be quite limiting.
Lets hope that's not the case.
Someone higher up could answer this better, as I'm only halfway through 1000.

There are limits on the product reduction cost research. As it says on top of it:
Current research level: 1/10 (1% faster production)
So am figuring 10% is the limit.

There is no limit on the number of imps you can buy but I see no reason to buy more than you need. Assuming you have all buildings developed to the highest level (large) and assign 30 imps to work in each of them, you would go over 1000 imps but not by much.
As for the research, each level cuts the production time by 1%, that would be 10% faster production for each buildings to which another 10% is added for Woodcutters, Quarries and Wells with the additional production research. As you may have guessed already, the maximum level of research is 10. :)

Cheers,

Thank you both, yes I guessed the limit was 10% but it never hurts to ask if you don't know for sure. :P
