Hi i have 2 questions here:

1.Do the epic units count as 1/50 of your total army or not?

2.It's about the gold mine rights you can buy for 100 soul

So you can buy up to 3 gold mines that will produce a total of 9000 gold per day.At the moment you can exchange 1 soul for 7500 gold.So 300 soul will transfer in to 2.250.000 gold, and it will take you a total of 250 days for the 3 gold mines to produce that much and you also need 15 imps working everyday on them.So can you please forward maybe a request to the devs that they fix up the numbers somehow? Other way i don't see a sense in buying gold mine rights since it's obvious you would like to have 2,25 mil gold at once then wait for almost a year to get that much back.

I can answer question 1 for you. The answer is no, an epic unit does not count towards the 50 unit limit cap.
I really never looked at the gold mines before since almost 100% of my income comes from army raids and dungeons so I am not able to help you with that.

1. The epic units do not count towards your 50 army size. I am not sure how many epic units one can have in their army, but rumors are that no more than 12.
2. For short term planning, selling the souls will bring you more gold. However, past those +250 days (factoring in the cost of serfs), the gold mines start being profitable. :) A possibility of upgrading the gold mines would be nice, though. ;) On the other hand, you could sell the souls on the Market for more than 7500 gold each to make some extra cash should you need it right away.
Anyhow, I am going to pass your suggestion on to the game devs.

Cheers,

Yes, they do. :)
There is an offer going on right now: 50% more MoonCoins for the same amount of cash (run by RMS) and an additional 50% more souls per package (purchased using MoonCoins, run by the DoE game devs.). Looks to me like a good opportunity. :)

Cheers,

Yes. I come in through the RMS portal, and there is an overlap on the 50% bonuses.

So if one was inclined, NOW would be the time... :)

Sorry if i necromance this thread, but i have some info on the goldmine that deserves more publicity than only in the patch notes :p

I bought a goldmine, regretted it later (should have bought imps), but after about 2 weeks i got this message:

"Subject: Gold mine — precious stone found

A sharp-eyed imp discovered a precious stone in the gold mine. Aware of your propensity to punish insubordination in the ghastliest manner possible, he doesn't ponder keeping the stone for himself for even a moment and instead quickly deposits it into your inventory."

A guildmate of mine says they do over 40k gold on the German server, so that should reduce those 250 days a lot, especially if they drop like every 2 weeks. Now i don't regret buying a mine anymore :)

Thanks for the input.
I've always wondered what was the drop rate on those precious stones.
