@gendy and Diana

Well, both of you are right actuall in the fact that competition is a good feeling :D

But,gendy getting 50 players to win doesn't weaken your guild...in fact all the members of your guild gain that weapon you were talking of,that i find more beneficial if we're talking about guild benefits, plus the resources could go for guild bases instead ;)

The fact of someone else getting something that you get as well in no way weakens you, cause you got the same benefit from the deal so in terms of power difference it's completly same between you and other winners if you of course didn't finish all your tears and raleshils set of epic gear then the lower player will reduce the difference a little.

P.S.The way the competition in this game is set is absolutly non competitional cause the actual competition is just which player pastes a bigger amount in the box of donation in the last seconds of the event :( Would be a lot better if we were alowed to donate a max of 10k per hour for example that way it would reward actual in game time spent and some strategy planning and then even if someone would end both on rank 1 it will be trully deserved or at least that's how i see it :D

7. Competition of November 2014

Walking Blindly into Destruction

Prince Mahadir of Tuchnador, an exceptionally impressive paragon of stupidity and narcissism, has ordered his attendants to erect an oversized statue of himself. As is the custom among the noble houses, other lords are invited to show their courtesy by contributing all manners of raw materials from their own stocks. And naturally the more you contribute, the greater esteem you earn.

While such ridiculous customs normally make you pull your hair out, in this case you prepare your contribution with a certain contentment. Mahadir's pompousness has earned him many high-placed enemies beyond yourself. Until now many parties relied on him economically, but times have changed... several other influential houses have made arrangements for him to be eliminated.

To your mind, the piles of building materials that you're sending to Prince Mahadir's court are little more of a loan. As soon as he's breathed his last, you intend to melt down that shiny new statue.

9th competition of January 2015

The Safeguard

Norderstedt, a lesser trading city, is seeking to improve its standing with the world around it —and in the process drum up greater trade. What better way to do so then to build a new temple to Harichmades, the God of Fate? Piousness should not be underestimated as a tool for achieving results in this world.

In this case, fear of angering the gods seems to have driven all the greater noble houses to make a contribution to the effort. Even you, forced to bide your time in this world for some time now, have been unable to ascertain just which higher forces are at play, so you decide to take the safe route and send materials to Norderstedt for the construction of the temple.

Your contribution makes strategic sense as well. While there's not much there of interest to you, you can never be certain when Norderstedt might actually start trading in goods of real value. Nor can you trust public opinion or standing alliances — they can change course in an instant. Better to be prepared.

10th competition of February 2015

Helping People Help Themselves

The banks of the Leras River, which flows through the western part of your realm, have suddenly been beset with an unusual plague. Hideous creatures have taken up residence in the trees near the water.

The few who survived their attacks describe them as a mix between monkey and spider. They plunge down from the branches with incredible speed, digging their fangs into their victims to disable them instantly. The inert bodies are then bound in thin fibers evidently produced by a gland in the creatures' mouths.

These cocoons can now be seen up and down the banks of the Leras. The creatures are actually not hard to defeat in combat — if you survive that initial sneak attack. You see no need to send your own troops to deal with this infestation. The better option is to simply enable the local inhabitants to deal with it themselves. This requires providing them with some opportunity to protect their bodies.
