I do wonder if the two barons are ever going to reappear

I am sure they'll both be back during a future event.

Check the "Weekly Quests / Glory Dealer" for the new epic units that can be purchased as long as you have the required glory points.

Nah, the barons were too be purchased with tickets through season event if I'm not mistaken.

But since you got me running on the glory units - does anyone experience not receiving their glory points after completing a full weekly quest series ? Apparently some of my players had this problem and I wondered whether it was confined to our own server or if all of them had the same sort of problem.

Yes, only during the ticket events.

I followed this closely and so far no glitch in the game, even the glory points for daily quests are received as promised.
