You could be right on this. There's still the possibility of getting 3 identical map fragments. It says there "You will receive random card fragments!". Btw., Uiqua, could you replace card with map?
We'll just have to wait for Uiqua to shed more light on this.

Considering you need 30 fragments, it's still much more effective to buy 1 by 1, IMO. And yeah, map fragments! Pirate cards — that's something you receive when you buy membership in the Pirate Club

You are right on the 3 map fragments being different. However, the price is 15 souls not 25 as shown there.

Maybe 25 souls is intended. I've emailed him bout it, waiting for an answer though.

we want to change something so that it is impossible for a player to buy a whole map set in one day. Because of that it isn't possible to buy map fragments at the moment.

So it will probably end up something like being able to purchase map fragment once a day via the shop and the more fragment you want the highter you have to pay/fragment.

please excuse the hastily called maintenance. The servers are now back online.

In addition to the bugs that were still open, we have also amended the purchase of map fragments in the shop.

Here you can buy now a maximum of 6 fragments per day. We just want to thus prevent that soul players only cavort on Treasure Island. The loot we have also adjusted by we have replaced the equipment from the elite merchant by equipment from the Maritimers.

I think Uiqua meant the loot from Treasure Island. It was elite-stuff before dropping there, now it's Maritimers'. Not sure, though, still a lowbie

The loot from Treasure Island included also items available at the Elite Merchant.
It changed to items from the Maritimers, the rest being the same: souls, elementals, equipment for the upgraded Raleshil and ToS and alchemist stones.
