I don't understand the change in the competition listings.

It will just make it harder.

What Animalux tries to say is - I think - that currently the ones who made the competition go up raised only by 1 every other minute, making it very annoying to those who dont spend their lifes on games ; here the player will be forced to raise by miuch higher amounts... or to spend even more time trying to guess the head bid (lol)

1- Collusion is still possible (maybe even more likely)
2- Expect bid increases of 100 or 1000 to find the highest bid (may take longer)

Suggestion:
Automatic calculation to show what you need to match the high bid - too many people apparently can not add or subtract. Most of those small increments appear to be from these miscalculations.

In the message area, there should be a "Players messages" or "Messages from players" instead of 2x "system messages"

Fortress / Successes / Army - please change "conure" to "conjure" in "I am legend!". Also, if possible: 1 legendary unit(s).

Other than that: PvP fights are 3 minutes now.
