My Instruction about the Atlas to Hawk's Members is

For now if you are going to build the Atlas, remove all the Equipment from your Mech before Upgrading it.

i remember to have lost big berthas during the upgrade, but i'm not completely sure if it was fault of the upgrade cost or something else.. ask the staff!

There is no need to strip your mech of anything before upgrading to Atlas.
I don't remember exactly but the worst that could happen is you should re-equip it after upgrade manually.

You loose your 3 equiped weapons on the Atlas. I suggest to use AK-20 on the mecha before upgrade.

Why equip it at all, then?
Honestly, I don't remember missing any equipment after the upgrade but this happened a long time ago and I'm old. :)

Hi there,

Guys, I'm sorry to put it that way but have you read all the requirements for Atlas upgrade ? You guys lose your 3 berthas because guess what ? It's part of the items required to do the Atlas upgrade, it isn't any kind of bug of any sort ! It is absolutely normal :)

It wasn't meant like that. It meant whether the weapons and extras EQUIPPED are lost when the mech upgrade is initiated/finished. Meaning, do I need to take off my phase shifters prior to commencement of the upgrade/finish of the upgrade, or not?

It was since the original message was talking about losing Berthas which is completely normal. You do not need to take your equipments off your Mecha before upgrading it, but hey if you have any doubt about this, stripping him down from weapons and extras only takes about 40 seconds doesn't it ? ^^

If we're talking about de-equipping prior to commencement — yes, 10 seconds at most. But if we're talking about prior to finish, that might be troublesome. I'm not sure whether I'll be in Internet in 10 days at that time. Anyhow, will tell you details when I'll begin the upgrade.

I can remember not stripping down my mech and not encountering any problem neither lauching the upgrade or once it was finished - only my three berthas disappeared which again was completely normal, my extras didn't move an inch :)
