Broken Items

I have had luck with the "click on broken icon --> place on Market---> immediatley buy them back" technique

But it only works if they were mine to begin with

If it' s listed as Nisfit's hemet - It may be the apostrophy problem....


If someone lists one of their Nisfits ( not a broken icon one) in the market place, lists like this:

Nisfit's riveted plate helmet

If you list a broken Icon one, it lists like this:

Nisfit\'s riveted plate helmet


It does appear that if you are the original owner and buy it back ( broken icon and regular) it will end up as listed ( not broken)...

We need to do some tests with say me listing one and having St0rm buy it...

I can confirm the above theory (my broken items -> listed on market -> bought them back -> all good now). I managed to get rid of the broken items but it worked only with Nisfit's helmet and Sissel's hope, both of which I had a few items produced by myself and the rest as loot from dungeons.
It also works if you bought someone else's broken items from the market, as long as you have at least one broke item produced by you in your inventory.

It didn't work with Ingrimm's hood though (loot from dungeons). I might need to have one produced and check it again.

There is no need to make a purchase on marketplace, You can make a contract to yourself. That means lesser fee and no worry that someone will buy it before you.

Any news about this? It is a more important issue than I thought because now I can't upgrade Raleshil due to I need one of these items

So the trick is to produce the item desired and later make a contract with yourself. If you don't have any item in the inventory, it does not work
