This certainly makes things more interesting for those non-Premium (F2P) players out there!

I feel, however, that for those F2P players, they are having a very hard time earning any gold at all, and just (barely) keeping their head above the water while treading water...

I haven't found any souls or serfs.

All I have done is let my army wonder about.

Souls are generally purchased from the game provider..

Serfs are found when you send out your army on a "raid" under the "action" tab.

Thank you, that is very kind. I will definately be buying some souls from you once I have a steady source of gold. Right now
just healing my army is eating up all my gold. So to get serfs you need to go on raids, I like 8 hour raids that gives you 8 times as many chances to find your serfs.
